Not sure if 4wd is disengaged

I was in 4 high and switched back to 2wd, the light
stayed in for a while but finally turned off. Now
when I turn it feels like I'm braking. Is it possible
the 4wd is still engaged? If so how do I get it out of
4wd?

Their is a fuse inside fuse box that controls the switch. If the fuse blew the light would go out but still be engaged. Check the fuse. Also if you get a lot of torc before speed when first hitting the gas and you hear the front shaft roaring you are more than likely still in 4 low. Also tip. On mine to disengage 4 low I have to turn to 4 high and wiggle my shifter a little bit while in neutral to disengage. My shifter link is a hair off. Hint. If fuse is blown not all your gauges will work either...gl
