t is low pressure turbo; T is high pressure turbo 2.0t: 2.0 liter low pressure turbo 2.0T: 2.0 liter high pressure turbo

Upper and Lower case. Sorry, just kidding. I couldn't resist. Don't know what you are referring to either. Is it a symbol/letter on the car, that you mean?
