Head gasket installation.

Asked by Rita Aug 08, 2015 at 03:06 AM about the 2006 Volvo S40

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We installed a new head gasket, and made sure the timing and everything was up to
standard. The vehicle started, and we drove it for approximately 2 days, after witch
the vehicle just died and does not want to start. Where do we go and look for the
problem? We checked that the timing is still correct, witch it is, but to no avail.
Could you please assist as to where we should look for the problem?
SELECT TRIM at the bottom, i cant describe it as I don't have the info. But I'm
attaching photos of the vehicle for your reference.

Are you getting anything at all, does it crank? Are you getting fuel?, did you check for pressure? Are you getting spark? I have a feeling the car jumped a tooth or so on the chain...
