when i start my mercedes benz S 500 i hear a weird sound from power steering and hyrdullic pump. i replaced pump with new still same sound is their

low power steering fliud maybe leaking from somewhewere,or maybe a belt is loose.

I checked steering and hydraulic fluid both ok. Fan belt is tight not loose. What you say about accumulator for hydraulic oil shocks height control. It might make sound when engine is start and you press gas

I had the same thing with my 2007 SL last month. Thank God for extended warranty. It was a $2400 repair for replacements of the accumulator. It's a fairly common repair once these get some age on them.
