where is the fuel pump

The fuel pump on this vehicle is located inside the fuel tank. To remove the pump, you must unbolt the tank straps and lower the tank.

actually.. if the car is a 1986, it is carbureted.. and it has a mechanical(not electric) fuel pump which is bolted to the front of the motor just off to the passengers side near the bottom.

correct it is under the alt you will have to take the alt off and possibly move the fuel lines from the filter to get pretty easy though
