I have a 2007 2500 dodge cummins it with the trailer hook up but my husband wired up his break control to it and the break controler is not registering the trailer. All the lights work on the trailer.

a test light may help back at the trailer brake wires to see the current to that point for a start

recheck the wire harness at the plug in the blue wire is your power wire and that is the pin in the middle,your white wire is your ground wire and should be the larger pin on top of the blue wire.the red wire is not your hot wire its your brake lights,brn is clearance,grn is rt turn and yell is left
