I am a new comer to the vw classic ,just got my first beetle last year. It's a convertable also.I still do not have it on the road,I am fiddling with the engine to rebuild it,which is out of the car.I bought a new top ,liner and padding to install in the spring. You can get allyou need at www.chucksconvertibleparts.com or call 1-804-784-5688,have fun ...also check out the samba.

You may have the curved windshield so that top frame i assume is different from my '71 sb vert.Check out thesamba.com or Chuck's.Ask there for those parts. That could be a nice project.
