Stupid car

Asked by Stupidcar Sep 10, 2018 at 05:53 PM about the 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car will crank and drive but not far until it dies and
wont crank again unless u leave it alone for a
while. New fuel pump, filter, spark plugs, and
ignition switch. Wont even crank if you spray
starting fluid in it. Trust me I tried. Please help.

I agree with Ed. Plus the car may not be as stupid as you think. It may just be waiting for you to ask it what's wrong. Scan it for trouble codes. That is almost always the first step when dealing with modern automotive problems. The stored codes will lead you to the problem in most cases. Good luck.
