Contemplating Selling

Asked by LexNKhy Aug 08, 2019 at 09:14 AM about the 2006 Hyundai Elantra

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently bought a car a Hyundai Elantra 2006 with
200000 plus miles currently my OT sensor and my CV
axle are going out and I just got stranded on the
freeway because of a timing belt issue if I bought the
car for 1500 do I fix all these parts or do I just sell the
car and get a new one. And if I end up selling the car
what would be my asking price range?

02 sensors are normally cheap to replace but the timing belt issue is something interesting that could be a bad tensioner or that the belt if worn out and could mean the engine was not getting the correct mixture of fuel resulting in carbon build up ect depending on how Ling it was driven like that I might be wrong but I think it's better to fix the car
