what would it cost to change the manual transmissin to an automatic?

Don't know why you would want to do that but the trany would be about $3500 to $4500 rebuilt, then the torque converter, flex plate, radiator, pedals, lines, fluid, installation, I wouldn't doubt you would have up to $8000 to $9000 in to it.

Sell yours and buy an automatic. You will save a huge amount of money and a lot of headaches.
