My 2004 Chevy Cavalier died on the road and now won't start - Suddenly there's no spark what can cause that to happen?

My car died suddenly on the road.  It cranks but doesn't start.  Suddenly, I have no spark.  I have power in the coil and out of the coil but the power stops there.  What can cause this?

Sounds like the plugs and wires. Did you check for voltage b4 the coils?
