The engine in my 2003 Saturn LW 300 (3.0 liter, V6) started cutting out while I DRIVE. What's more, sometimes the car starts, sometimes it doesn't. No sensors are appearing when the mechanic checks it. He can't figure out what's wrong. Any thoughts what might be going on?

Tell the mechanic to test for spark, the crank sensor won't always throw a code. Ignition switch could also be the issue, have him check voltage at the fuses in the fuse box under the hood. If either of the ignition fuses show anything less than battery voltage with the key on then the ignition switch news to be tested.
