2008 pontiac G6 died but got jumped worked all the way home wouldn't start the next day so replaced battery and new starter still isn't turning over...what can we do now?!

All fuses were checked when we replaced battery someone said that there is a security lock on the batteries and the car could have locked out...how do we reset the security?

I also seen a comment sayin try putting the car in on setting for 10minutes and it would reset itself im trying that now

I let it sit in on setting still nothing..engine light and then a car w a lock icon stays lite when u try to start it

Whats a master key? We only have the key it came with..and there's an acc spot and then a line spot I had it on the acc bcoz I didnt wanna use the line and it drain the battery...and we were told that also but we'd have to have it towed since it won't start what do they usually charge to have it hooked up to their computers to be reset? Trying to weigh out options since alrdy spent close to $300 on new battery and starter! Ugghh sware this is the worst car ever
