I have a 2002 Chevy Malibu my father told
me when he got it that it was sittibg fir a
while without being started and at first it
starts then after a while it dies and it won't
start back up and before I start it the fuel.
Gauge is showing that there is no gas in it
but ik there is about half a tank my father's
friend is telling me Its the engine module
other people are telling me it's a vacuum
leak or a bad fuel pump. I'm getting very
confused bc I'm trying to get my car up and
running but Idk what's wrong with it

I've had same problem.. Check theft system. If not check the ignition switch. That what mine was doin get.
My theft light turns on and stays on before and now it just flashes but the switch still turns over but doesn't start
I'll try to reset the theft system in the morning
I reset the theft system but the fuel gauge doesn't show it has gas in when there is gas in it and it still won't start
