The fuel pump is in the gas tank so if it's not getting fuel then either it's not operating or the pickup screen is totally blocked. First make sure the pump is coming on, listen for it to hum when switching key to on, or test it with a meter. If the circuit is dead then you'll have to troubleshoot it from there. If it's coming on but not pumping fuel then it's bad ir the screen is blocked. Either case you'll have to drop the tank to see what is going on. Also check the vent line is working as well as the vent and purge solenoids and the fuel filter(s).
