I have a 2000 silverado 4.3l and my fuel pump was not activating so I checked fuses and relays and ruled those out so I changed the fuel pump and its still not activating and I can't figure out why.

Check all your connections, especially the ground wire for your fuel pump. Don't be afraid to run a new ground wire ( about 1 ' long )for the pump at the tank and use a self tapping screw to secure it to the chassis.
