Do anyone know were this panic button is in the trunk of a 96 chevy blazer?

The panic button that was mentioned in that other answer is usually in the front bumper area usually at one of the shocks. You did not say if your check engine light was on, have you checked for any codes with a scan tool?

It is a switch that will cut off the fuel flow when you have an accident, some are so sensitive that just a kick to the front bumper will set it off.
