My car won't Accelerate !! Please help!

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Everything was working fine until
yesterday ! I was driving back home
from the store and when I would try
to accelerate it literally wouldn't go
more than 25mph
No lights have turned on. The odd
thing is when I move it to the #2 gear
, it'll go up to 50-55 mph
I know I'm going to have to take it to
te mechanic but was curious to see if
anyone knew what this could be ?

It could be the transmission... Try to take it to a mechanic asap so the damages can't get worse.
