just to put it out on the table it can be done.firsr you will have to find someone willing to do it also you need plenty of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.this is not easy or really recomended.
As Papa says it is going to be expensive. My 82 cost a bit (12 years ago). You will need the engine/tranny, and if you are staying with the computer you will need the computer and wiring harness (if you are staying with fuel injection), new motor mounts, heavy duty springs and shocks (alignment once you are done), upgraded rad, becarefull of the distribtor (the V-8 going in, I normally leave it off until the V-8 is in). depending on the tranny in the car and the one going in you might need a new driveshaft. Plus a few more thing I am sure I have forgotten. As Papa says you need some buck and lots of time and pataince. plus a few bottles of Tylenol - extra-strength. There is going to be alot of trial and error. plan ahead and take your time. If you dont think that you have enough knowledge see if you can get someone else to do it, If not sell the car and buy one with a V-8 in it. Best of luck, Hope this helps.
