Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Engine starts fine and idles fine, when you give it gas to speed up it starts losing power. If
you bear down on it, it backfires and really loses power.  When you let off of it, it picks up
and runs ok again.  It seems to be worse when it is warm.  any thoughts?

Ignition timing, and/or vacuum advance on distributor

How long since your last major tune up? (Plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter, ect.)
