Searched for: i have a ford batam 2006 1600 rocam the engine has been done , it pings when i ref it , it does nor have a knock sensor and no wiring can i take wiring to the computer and put a knock sensor in

The 1600 of these Rocam engines don't have knock sensors, only the 1300 has a knock sensor. It sounds like the Cam timing is a tooth out. Check the Cam timing.
