For anyone with a nissan frontier that will start but will not run, take off the distributor cap. their is a set screw that holds the rotor in place. if this screw comes loose, your truck will try to start, will get fuel, and will have spark but it will be spuratic. when you take the cap off and you can turn the rotor with your finger, the screw has fallen out. i found my screw between the casing and the plastic of the distributor. once i put the screw in, the truck cranked right up. i would put some light weight lock tite on the screw before installing.
