to keep your tranny Nissan cvt in exec shape, have a Nissan dealer they do a rev flush, replace cvt filter, and gaskets, and add new fluid, THEY TELL YOU EVERY 30,000 MILES ,its also warrenty work when done at dealer,I am having my done this wk, at the dealership where I got the car, for 175.00 total 8/12/14 kal
Wow you're getting a deal considering the fluid alone costs $50-60/litre. I think they are blowing smoke up your butt and the cvt's are lifetime fluid but we usually flush them at 96,000 km or 60,000 miles and costs around $700. Btw theres no filter and no gaskets (silicone on pan). I've had many of these off and apart so I've seen with my own eyes.
BOB , the dealer, say it helps the cvt last , no you don"t have to do it, rem service in the book said 60,000 miles, now my son owns a garage and tire center, and the first thing he said, when I got the car with 27,604 k on it was[YOU BETER CHANGE THE FUID AT 30,000 IF YOU PLAN ON KEEPING THE CAR] now I have a warrenty, but most dealers will try anything to not pay, that's from a friend that is a service write up man , and on a used car you don"t know how rough they drove it? now on cars like kia they will turn you down if rem service, has not been done, oil changes are the biggest one for motor repairs they always say the moter had sudge in it, and if you do it yourself you have to have your dated receipts,, my last car was a kia optima, which I traded when it went out of full warrenty at 5 years, kal
