did the tick seem to be going with your rpms? getting louder or faster the higher the engine revved? also how did the car die? did it seem to make alot of noise and lock up or just simply turn off.

oh there was a reason all right...recommend that you pull the front timing cover off and look at the timing marks~ if you're lucky this will be a non-interference motor and you just can change the broken belt or chain~
