Don't forget the Warranty! It's a CYA move for the shop but a new or Remanufactured half-shaft has a warranty that covers the entire half shaft - just in case the old one has a concern that only becomes evident after being disturbed.
I just had a second tone plate replaced for a mere 458 dollars.what a deal.only two to go.
