Be patient. I changed those before on those types of explorers. Best to get something like a Haynes book for your year. If memory serves you begin by removing components to the bottom side of the dash near the bottom and work yourself up. Tape the screws to the dash component removed. You are going to have a lot of them of all sizes and diameters. Be careful when pulling the cluster forward after the last screw is removed. It's all electrical connections back there, don't break any wires. Feel for the harness and unplug it before pulling it out to far.
