My'07 Ford Focus started smelling like strong glue, any ideas?

did something crawl up in there and die?? look for leaks...

I don't know anything about cars - I just wondered if it was a tell-tale sign about something specific.

is any thing L eaking heater core/wet floor...????... is it a piece of pizza...some bad perfume.>>> open the hood , smell it there also...? help...

Nothing leaking that I can tell, no food or perfume, LOL. I'll open the hood tonight and check. Thanks!

is any thing Leaking heater core/wet /damp.floor...feel the floor..even a small leak that you cant see will give off fumes. are the exhaust manifold clean...does it smell like eggs????

It's smells like nasty glue.

Just have it looked at by your mechanic..since you said you didn't know much about cars (and we can't see & smell what you're dealing with). It sounds more like an inconvenience. I would run the AC at very low fan speeds till your mechanic gives it a once-over. Hope it's something minor! Good Luck :)

Look under your seats and in the trunk something may have spilled causing your smell.
