vibration at idle

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just replaced the cv axle on the passenger side of the car. And when I come to a stop there's a vibration in the car?
Could this have anything to do with the cv axle? Maybe wrong size? bad cv axle? or something with the engine - the
rpm's stay the same at idle no up and down on the idle. And at a stop the axle isn't moving right? This has got me
wondering engine or axle?

i'm going to guess it's an automatic seeing you don't say but if it is, check your flywheel. does it have a tick sound when you stop.[if it does it's a cracked flywheel] or you might even have loose torque converter bolts. like i said you didn't give much to go on. could even have a vibration if you lost a wieght on the flywheel.

thanks for your insight to this issue. This vibration is only noticeable at a stop light or the car is in park. I've read that on Legends, with some oem axles you get a vibration from them? information from acura forum "Make sure you are using the reman'd AZ axles. The new ones use a cast center shaft that will vibrate, the reman'd use the forged OEM center shaft." Here's a link and going about half way down to then go to the bottom. They are talking about the axle and vibration issues. http://forums.acuralegend.org/symptoms-bad-axles-t25972p2.html?highlight=cv+axle
