engine light came on two weeks ago i had it plugged in and all that came up was a bad
spark plug wire which made sense as it had started to misfire a week prior to that. I dont
hear the fuel pump engaging when i turn the key, also had a belt squeal when wet out or if
i stopped at a light with the heat or air on. Had it towed last night, any info would be
helpful!

did it just die or sputter and die
yes, all electrical still works, battery relatively new, all connections are newer as well
A coil going bad can cause misfire problems. When it dies, so does the car. If you have access to a multimeter there are instructions on the web on how to check a coil.
it was a bad coil thanks everyone:) getting part today should be up and running soon
