2005 imobilizer problem grand cherokee 3.0l crd

car was running went back to it turned ignition on and the imobalizer light would
not go off and car would not start or turn over have taken battery off had new
ignition barrel and key fitted at Jeep garage  have re set with instructions on
how to lock and unlock door still no joy been stood now 6 months any advise

Were are you unlocking from? drivers door? if so try the passenger side.
