Remove the coolant cap and rev the engine at 3000 rpm for a minute, then idle, then top off. Repeat over and over until all air is purged and all fans have come on (May have fan in front of radiator as well). You will see air entering the recovery bottle through the de-gas hose. It will happen for awhile, stop and then happen again. Pain in the ass, but be patient and wait until all air purges. Be sure fans come on as many thermostats are mis-diagnosed due to faulty fans or blown fuses.
