I have a honda civic I noticed on the intake manifold there are little holes above each intake what is the reason for these?

Just need to know why there are holes (see red lines pointing) in this manifold and what do they do

Shane, the little holes not the larger ones. Besides the injector holes are on the opposite side, talking about the real small holes above the intake port.

sorry I did not see them until I enlarged the picture just now. what year and model civic do you have?

so you have the d16y8 engine I have a stock y8 manifold in the garage and it doesnt have those holes. I have seen some after market ones that have extra holes for nitrous and such. but honestly I am at a loss for what the holes are for as of right now but I am gonna keep looking into it
