If I had time would go to the pickNpull and measure each of them...you got a good welder there will understand the forces incurred and how to mend with "scab plates" to distribute the forces evenly~

always found the 54 Chevy pickup with the sloped floors and so called "granny gear" to be ideal for the farmer to "Bucketwash the foot controls" free of cow fertilizer and still have the right gear to pull the plow back there~ an Impala 400 will fit and a turbo 350 if you want automatic....has a couple of these and the "splash oiler" of the 216 condemned the motor to an early grave~

if you had a Camaro...just put a new seats and a good paint job...and service the drivetrain and motor...seems silly....this~

furthermore was disappointed by the foot pedal as solenoid...limited passenger compartment space and something falls out of your pocket like coins of keys and immediately goes out the door when you open 'er up~ thought the chrome dash and the cowl vent (no a/c in them days) and chrome plated pull controls for throttle and choke were kinda neat....but had two of them and ended up scrapping them as they were both sinkwells for ca$h~
