Help 2.5 s10 issues

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently bought a 89 s10 from my father in law.  He had pulled the
motor out and was going to upgrade but changed his mind.  When I got
the truck it was running but was definitely not right.  I have replaced the
starter, alternator, rotor cap and button, map sensor, battery, plugs and
wires, rebuilt fuel injector and throttle body.  Was dumping gas into the
motor and that caused a fire.  The fire was put out with minimal
damage.  Currently rebuilding the throttle body and I am not one
hundred percent sure where to start.  It doesn't seem like there has
been to much damage to anything.  I have cleaned off the motor and
managed to salvage all the new parts that I had put on there.  I really
need to know where the leak maybe coming from.  It seems like it is
coming from around the tps.  I have put new gaskets on everything
throttle body related and still have the leak.... Help this truck is killing
me!!!
