are you asking if you can use a from the 88 4x4 on your 92 2wd? Yes it will work, you may have to do something fancy with your transmission crossmember if keeping the 2wd trans. Also your rims wont works any more, as a 4x4 uses 6 lugs. Other than that the front bearing need the cv axles bolted in to hold them together, either keep the front diff with them in or break off the ends of the axles and just have the outer end bolted up. But the body and engine will just bolt in.
