My transmission is having difficulties going into gear. Any suggestions before I have to completely replace the trans? I just had a new radiator and belt put on. All advice is appreciated!

you can try some Lucas Transmission fix. It should ONLY BE ADDED WITH THE TRANS AT OPERATING TEMPATURE. Stuff works miracles

If you wouldn't mind could I explain what it's doing and maybe you could tell me if I should try the lucus?

Btw thank you in advance. After letting the car run for a few mins when I put my car into gear it is not wanting to go into gear. With reverse I had to gradually apply gas until it shifted into reverse same with drive, goes into 1st gear easiest.

I keep adding trans fluid and it seems as long as I keep adding trans fluid it will go on the express way until I get into traffic

sounds like your transmission is low on fluid. once its been running for a while you no longer slip?

It does great after it warms up as long as I'm going a set speed

so you have a fluid leak then. Most likely the transmission pan gasket is bad. cheap fix. trace the source of the leak. Go to the post office and grab a box for free, Place it under the car and let it run. look for the drips then match them up under the car.
