2004 cadillac CTS v-6 wont start.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Engine turns but will not crank.  it appears that it is not getting gas or won't
ignite.  I have changed battery, ignition switch, fuel pump and fuel filter.
Ironically I had to add 3 quarts of oil(i know thats bad but I didn't have an
indicator light) After adding the oil, the car would't st  art. Please help. I cannot
afford an authorized Cadillac mechanic.

Try disconnecting the battery and wait 24 hours to see if the pcm does a system reset.

Don't wait until it is 3 quarts low to add oil. You will ruin your engine. 1/2 quart low is my limit.
