Any small SUVs with an arm rest that women can reach?

Question type: General

Hello,

I am a 5'4" woman with degenerative disk disease in my neck (I've
worn away 2 disks). I need an arm rest that is forward enough that I can
reach it to rest my right arm. The only car or SUV I could find with arm rests I
can reach are the Mercedes E-class. Honda used to put captain-seat arm
rests in the CR-V, Passport, and Pilot, but they took them out. VW has them
in the ID.4, but they no longer have them.

I hope auto manufacturers look at this. It is painful for me to drive.
Aftermarket arm rests I've found are wonky and interfere with the seatbelt.

Does anyone know of any small SUV with an armrest or center console that
is far enough forward that an average sized woman can reach it?

Please and thank you.

I'd suggest looking for a shop that handles retrofits for special needs drivers. Such as hand controls for people who can't use their legs to drive. Maybe a local chapter of Wounded Warriors would be able to recommend a local shop. That way you can get a vehicle you like and have it modified to fit your specific needs. Jim
