Not going to find much out there for that price and be reliable without putting some money into it. At that price look for some older SUV’s all American made, especially Ford or GM products, stay away from Chrysler or anything European. If you had more money you could look at Toyota or Honda.

Ford Explorer, Mercury Mountaineer. Ford Escape 2012 or newer. Stay away from GM, Chrysler, and higher end imports. Jim
