what are muscle cars
i want to know what can of cars are classified as muscles cars... and how is it classified e.g with the look, torque etc...
the 60's and early 70's was the era of the american muscle car. ford/gm/chrysler designed V-8 engines capable of huge horsepower and torque. chrysler offered a wide variety of V-8's from small block in displacements of 273, 318, 340, 360 cu. in. big blocks of 350 (short lasting production) 383, 400, 413 (the max wedge engine) the famous 426 hemi and the brute 440. induction choices included 2bbl, 4bbl, 4x2bbl (dual quad carb) 3x2 (3 inline 2bbl carbs aka six pack)
