SSC Ultimate Aero TT... Now several people are about to post the wrong answer... It is NOT the Veyron, Koennigsegg, the Enzon, the McLaren F1, or any other car. And next for the love of god will people stop asking this question.
I agree ssc aero is the only one to hit the highest top speed in actual driving
While technically the aero holds the record for the worlds fastest top speed of any production car it still is quicker 0-60mph and it is much more sophisticated and advanced. I would take the Bugatti over the Aero any day.

Once again theoretical top speeds count for nothing count for nothing and if you want to count theoretical top speed then the SSC still trumps at 462.046km/h

its not theorical, the ssc is the fastest street legal car in actual straitline top speed tests.
Actually mate the CCXR has yet to make a attempt to run at it's top speed which is why they advertise it simply as "400+ km/h (estimated)". The CCX is the only koenigsegg to hold the record and only held it for less than two months... Feb 28th 2005 to April 19th 2005 Now do you have anything factual to say? The only thing more annoying than seeing this question daily is the people who still say the incorrect answer, and even when told the facts they refuse to believe them.
it was announced a few months back that the new koinegzegg ccxr it officially the fastest production car in the world, putting the ssc ultimate aero tt 2nd, and the bugatti veyron 3rd
