95 E150 fuel problem

this is a classic case of rendering the evaporative emissions systems inoperative....just leaving the cap off...so delicate in terms of back pressure to the charcoal canister...but alas you've flooded it...keep running until about half full and perhaps the check engine light will stop illuminating in your face~

your gas station pump knows when the tank is full....please stop at the first click...to put any more gas in is evaporative suicide~

I'd pull the vent cap off the vent hose to see if its clogged. Definitely sounds like a blockage.

thanks judge for not answering the question.. kind of hard to overfill the tank on 10.00 when its a 35 gallon tank. and as for a check engine light... never stated that i had one flashing... and as far as running the tank half full... right now it is about 1/35 full since i only put in a gallon via a gas can

thanks romero.. i take it that the rubber hose with the cap on it may be the one you speak of... look like a cap but when you pull it off the plug is like an x so perhaps air can escape thru it... other than that is there a way to vent the air out....

no rocks in the filler tube... dropped the filler tubes and they are clear

had a thought that if i cannot get it to take gas that i slid a hose into the tank via the filler tube so that there would be an air gap between the hose and the filler tube.. thus putting gas into the tank via the hose and perhaps the gas vapor or air in the tank could then flow freely between the hose i inserted and the filler tube... any thought on that

or what would happen if i disconnected the rubber hose that come off of the hard line from the rear of the tank. it becomes rubber near the engine and splits in a T one to the engine and the other to the vapor canister.

you must try all of these things nkvan, a dual containment tube just doesn't seem practical~

Your roll over valve on the inlet of the tank could be faulty also

you know...you are filling....the air from your fill has to go somewhere...it is supposed to go into the charcoal canister....the air flow is blocked goin into or comin out of the canister...investigate these two vacuum tubes...think we've been down this alley before, but I was aggrivated and so were you...let's give it the old college try we can find that failure to exit into the ambient atmosphere---yes we can.~
