Where is the blower intake scoop on a 2002 lexusRx300 located?

Fresh air comes in at the base of the windshield. It's a high pressure area called the cowl.

That's why if you have a gas leak or oil smoke in the engine, you can smell it in the cabin.

The middle vents is not blowing but the outer vents are. That's why I was trying to see if the blower intake scoop is clogged But I don't know where to find the scoop.

Where the HVAC system gets air is different from where is goes after it passes through the blower motor. The HVAC system has doors that direct air to the selected locations. Sounds like some of your doors are stuck or the vacuum to operate them is low from cracked vacuum hoses.

@ tenspeed is it difficult t get this fixed? Meaning a lot of things to remove in order to get to the doors of the hvac?
