Suzuki vitara engine in stockman turbo/ superchr

What's the best option for a 1.6 ltr vitara engine its
in a Suzuki stockman ute 1982-5 unsure  looking at
traveling the cape but still want some good power
any thoughts or previous builds I can get some
advise would be much appreciated cheers Glyn
