Hi, might help. See if all applies. Car running a little rough for a few days, died at light. Turned off, wouldn't restart. Started intermittently but died when I put it in gear. Engine Light was on for a week, got error code P0335, the sensor. Was told to self test double check the scanner. Thinking yours may have died when you cranked it and engine light didn't have enough time to come on. When you crank the engine, does your tachometer read anything or move at all? Mine didn't and was told it was the Crankshaft Position Senor. It reads engine rpm and plays major role in engine sending info to the cars computer. Unit dead if no rpms when cranking. That's where the tach gets it info from. Many utube vids point the same way. Usually engine runs a little rough before the unit dies. On a lot of cars, comparably easy to change. On the 2004 Honda CRV 2.4 vtech it is behind the timing chain. Not something to do if a novice. Just trying to offer some help. I'm raising my car and replacing the sensor in about an hour. I've changed timing belts before, not looking forward to doing this, but looking to save about $450-$500. The part is cheap, the labor hours aren't. Thinking Honda saw this sensor, and built the engine around it. Good Luck
