Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Been Driving My Taurus Only To Find Out Hit Has A Hard Time Shifting To 4th Gear From 3rd, If I Am At A Complete Stop And Start Fast, It Seems To Go From 3rd To 4th Without A Problem, I Checked The Transmission Fluid, Is At The Correct Level, And Is Clean, No Burnt Smell Or Anything

most taurus;s I've worked on with no movement forward or backward out of the blue has been the torque convertor, the inner welds to the pump spline break causing no fluid to correctly flow, fixed probley 100 of them.always purchase a fully welded aftermarket convertor such as dacco, premium product, no combacks.
