I have a 1985 corvette, I'am replacing the valve covers so I figure since the rocker arms nuts are accessible I would check the tightness of the nuts, my vette has appox. 87,000 miles on it. What steps are needed to check the nut torque?

Hi powerchev. Take a drive (top down) to the local library where they will have the Chilton's for your Vette. that will have that particular torque spec for you. Good luck!
