What would happen if you put R-134a on top of R-12 into the same AC system?

Also... Was just told that my new installed rack and pinion he said he did a FULL front alignment.. How do you do that without machine and lasers? Remember this is in my garage and it's on 3 jack stands. That's it.. What do you do eyeball it?????
