Over flow jug having pressure on it.

1999 chevrolet 4x4 truck single cab
Over flow jug being empty go to take the cap
off of it and it has pressure on it. What could
be the problem?
Radiator not leaking
Hose from radiator to motor is flat.
Would it be that the radiator needs to
flushed out or something else?

Some remote reservoirs are meant to be under pressure. Not sure if your truck is one of them.
