my 2002 ford escape headlights stay on when car is off

when i turn my car  off my headlights stat on i have to unhooked the  battery to turn off.

You might try unplugging the fuse under the hood. My brake pedal "stopper" broke. Hard to get in that small area under steering column but check the break if there is a ring of broken plastic.

Look up 2008 pont.grad.prix the same happens to them all of them they got some good ansers but the best one would be a recall lk.ures ip and see if it has one it sounds like a sensor I don't know if u put s code reader on it try that first if not the best thing I found out when I do everything possible to fix a certain something.wrong that it could be can b.i wish I bring it to a real shop even your make dealer I rather pay a 100.to pinpoint the prob.instead of taking money and time up I could be making alot more money working than fig something out but I'm pretty good at it but I still rather hear something from the dealer mb.hell tell me there's a recall but always put the code reader on first with a. Prob.like that.
